GET IN TOUCHTracy Poole is an attorney with over 25 years of experience in complex commercial transactions, M&A, financing, energy and venture capital disciplines. Tracy was corporate and outside counsel to leading energy marketing and trading companies and helped close some of the largest wholesale energy transactions in existence. He is the former General Counsel of an energy-related hedge fund and the founder of an independent upstream oil and gas producer.
As a founder, Tracy has led capital raising activities resulting in over $700 Million in debt and equity capital raised from private investors and has orchestrated successful exits of up to 10x returns.
Chuck cofounded Bridgecreek Investment Management in 2004 and grew assets under management in excess of $1 Billion. Previously, Chuck managed portfolios for high-net-worth clients, corporations, foundations, and endowments for BOK Financial and Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
Chuck holds designations as Certified Portfolio Manager from Columbia University in New York, and Certified Investment Analyst from The Wharton School of Business/Investments and Wealth Institute. He also holds a Series 65 license.
Jim Barsness is a highly accomplished finance executive with more than 11 years of progressive experience across a broad range of industries and company sizes.
Prior, Jim was a Vice President at a Dallas-based middle market private equity firm where he focused on sourcing, underwriting and managing investments across the capital structure. He also spent several years at a boutique investment bank and started his career at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Jim is a CPA and holds Series 79 and 66 licenses.
Prior to joining the 46VC team, Connor Sitton helped start an apparel company, beardedgoat, while studying business at the University of Arkansas. In his three years as Head of Sales for beardedgoat, Connor quickly became an expert in Customer Acquisition, Team Management, Data driven Growth Strategies, and all aspects of the start-up process.
Connor holds his bachelor’s degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of Arkansas and received his Juris Doctorate Degree (JD) as well as his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Tulsa.
Paul Slosar, MD, MHCDS is an orthopedic spine surgeon who practiced for 28 years in the San Francisco Bay area. He served as Administrative Partner and President of the group from 2007-2020. Dr. Slosar has also served as the Medical Director of the Spine Care Institute of San Francisco and Director of Surgical Research at the San Francisco Spine Institute. Dr. Slosar also has extensive experience as a Health Tech operator and advisor with multiple successful exits.
Dr. Slosar holds a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College, an MD from Rush University, and an Intensive Seminar Certificate in Value-Based Health Care from Harvard Business School.
Following a career playing professional baseball in the Detroit Tigers organization, Garrett entered the financial services industry as a financial planner working with high-net-worth individual clients on their investing and retirement needs. During his time as a financial planner, he helped start, raise capital for, and operate an NIL Collective for Oklahoma State of which he still serves as a board member.
Garrett holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University and currently maintains active Series 6 and 63 investment licenses.
Before joining 46VC, Kate worked at Wefunder, an equity crowdfunding platform, where she led their expansion to Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa. She quickly developed a high level of knowledge in Regulation Crowdfunding. Prior to that, she was the Marketing Manager at Rejoicy, a Bentonville-based e-commerce startup.
Kate received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business.
